Louisiana Governor and potential presidential candidate Bobby Jindal told Liberty University graduates over the weekend that the United States is home to a “religious war” against Christians.
“The new left in America is completely intolerant of people of faith,” Jindal said. “The left no longer wants to debate. They simply want to silence us.”
Jindal said abundant evidence includes the experiences of the Benham Brothers [whose TV show on HGTV was cancelled] and Phil Robertson of “Duck Dynasty.”
If that is a religious war, I wonder what Jindal calls the threats to Christians in Egypt? Or Muslims in Burma? Or anyone who denies the extremist religious views of Boko Haram in Nigeria?
